What does the Bible say about our mission on earth?

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Matthew 28:19-20

When a person professes faith in Christ, confirming they are a believer, it comes with responsibility. Ephesians 2:10 says we are "created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." There can be no greater work than to live for God, giving testimony by word and deed to the saving power of Jesus Christ and the inward moving of the Holy Spirit.

We do this by:

First:
Observing (ourselves) all things whatsoever God has commanded us in Scripture.

Then:
Teaching (by word an deed) all things whatsoever we find recorded in the Word of God to others.

We cannot go and teach the truth, unless we ourselves have surrendered to the Lord Jesus Christ first; for only then do we have the Truth dwelling within us. Then we can be his witnesses in our city, state, country, and unto the uttermost parts of the world.
