What We Believe
Blue | Question 6
What does the Bible say about the Security of the Believer?
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39
These verses should bring an awesome comfort.
To the person who has repented of sin and put faith in Christ, you are more secure than you could ever be in life or death. There is nothing that can "separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
To the lost person, the one who believes they aren't "good enough" to be loved, Jesus says "Repent and believe, come and follow me." Put faith in the Saviour Jesus Christ, and know the love of God for all eternity.
