Do you enjoy reading comics or picture books? I was recently handed "The Twelve" (pictured to the right), produced by Kingstone Comics.
This volume covers the lives of The Twelve Jesus chose to be his disciples. However, Matthias (the replacement) is included instead of Judas Iscariot, the one who betrayed Christ.
This volume (The Twelve) is in connection with Voice of the Martyrs, whose mission statement is:
Serving persecuted Christians through practical and spiritual assistance, and leading other members of the body of Christ into fellowship with them.
A comic—or any other book—should never be a replacement for reading the Bible itself, but a visual aid has been known to help some of us understand and remember these great truths.
